About

Caitlin Kleiboer is a documentary filmmaker and photographer whose work lives at the intersection of visual storytelling and health justice. Trained first as an artist — she holds a BFA from the University of Michigan — she went on to earn an MA in Visual Communication and an MPH from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, drawn by what she describes as the nagging questions about the links between poverty and disease. Her documentary and editorial work has been recognized at BANFF, SXSW, and the Webby Awards, with credits including National Geographic and The Washington Post. She currently tells stories of health equity across four continents at Partners In Health, working in film, digital, and analog photography.
